These commercial vehicles have one thing in common: they run without fossil fuels such as petrol or diesel. The electric yellow BVG bus is already a feature of Berlin's cityscape, and the fire brigade and city cleaning services have also arrived in the new renewable age. The police car even runs on hydrogen.
For us cyclists, all of this makes a big difference too. The air is much better, we can finally breathe while sharing space on the streets of our city. The pylons ensure a safe distance in case it gets a bit too crowded.
